Today the pups went for their first "hike." They followed me all around the lower level of the house! LOL! It was a big trip fo those little short legs, but they had a blast and I must say they are really bold. They got goat stew bones to chew on for the first time too, straight out of the freezer to soothe those teething gums. That kept them busy for ages. They are eating dog food well, beginning to focus on things at a bit of a distance, and Rumour is starting to play with them. She is not really all that pleased about feeding them - they have teeth now - but she likes to clean up their food dish, so she will hop from side to side avoiding them all the while eating the spilled food.
They are really a cute bunch and seem quite well put together. They can make noise, but generally they are the quietest pups I have ever had. They are also very clean. Given the very cold temperatures we've had this week they've only been outside once. They have a box with wood pellets in it and about 75% of the time they use it to potty in. Not bad for such young pups.
I have a friend visiting this weekend, so with any luck I will get some photos and post them on Monday.
