A Canadian Show Champion with multiple CKC and AKC senior field trial stake placements and wins, Rumour has recently finished her CKC Companion Dog title with 4 straight passes, 3 high in class, and one third place. Rumour also has two placements at the CKC Companion Dog Excellent level.
The Dam of our 2010 litter by Chukarhill Burn Notice, Rumour has proven herself an exceptional producer as well. Rumour was bred in 2014 to Am FC Heilisgepp's Blick and the resulting pups are fantastic.
Rumour is owned by Trevor Michael.

Here are Ginny (owned by Caryn Jennings) and Jule (owned by co-breeder Chris Greene) looking really good at just two years of age. They are litter sisters of my girl Meg.
My heart is saddened by the loss, far too early, of Ulysses to a tragic car accident. So sorry, Mark, for your loss.
Ulysses and Mark had an amazing first field trial season, this young dog is still eligible for derby stakes through November 26/13 and he is already placing in the broke stakes!

Goose is the first Irish Setter for the Salandini family. This is a photograph of Karen Salandini showing Goose, her first show dog, to his Canadian Championship. Karen has also handled Goose to CKC field trial Puppy and Derby placements as well as a pass on his Field Dog Junior Title.
Goose is now running in senior stakes with Karen.
Terry and Karen Salandini hunt both upland and waterfowl extensively, and are developing Goose as a fine hunting companion to complement their older Pointer Pat. Bred by Cassie Allen and Susan Russell
Twister is another of Carrie and Trevor's dogs showing incredible ability in the obedience ring and in the field.
German Dual Champion Eli Is in Germany at Lohmann's Irish Red Setter Zucht and has done very well. These photos are from the Lohmann's website which can be found on my links page. From his show and field critiques one can determine quickly how well this dog has done under the Lohmann's direction. I am deeply grateful to them for giving him such great opportunities. His hip score is HD: A1. He has been approved for breeding in Germany and has a number of litters on the ground. Many of his get are doing well at trials overseas.
I am saddened to announce that Joey was stricken and passed away due to a Cryptococcus gattii fungal infection. Gone much too early, Joey was a superb producer in his short life.
Joey is co-owned with Bright Star Irish Setters in California, who own his sire.
Joey is a great looking dog, a loveable energetic companion, and a naturally strong pointing enthusiastic dog in the field. He has multiple AKC juvenile stake placements, and is now running and placing in senior stakes.
Joey is the sire of a litter out of Can Ch Mythodical Russell's Reba, which includes a dual champion, show champions, and get with field trial placements proving that he can pass along his strong positive qualities.

The most powerful Irish that Breeder/Owner Cassie Allen has ever seen. Wonderful run and desire to point.
At 3 yrs of age he is running broke and nearly finished his field championship. Physically tough mentally biddable, just like his Daddy.
Very moderate of type, he might not be extreme enough for the AKC show ring. He is sound going, and has a very correct coat. His first litter out of Birdy (Mythodical Irish Setters) is looking very promising.

These handsome young dogs were co-bred by myself and Rosanna Porter. The left hand one is owned by Rosanna's brother Oliver and sister in law Beth. Beth learned to show Rory herself and has done a superb job finishing him mostly by herself. Well done Beth!!! On the right is Aaron owned by Rosanna and Rick Porter and exhibited to his championship by Randy Schepper. A third owned by Carl Sutton is shown on the right.
Co-Bred with Tuckers, this lovely little female lives with the Smiths down south and is the beloved pet and companion of the family and young daughter. As you can see, she is living the life of Riley!
I could not say more about Sierra than her owner did in an update email to me:
Its been nearly 2 years since I was down to Merritt
to look at red puppies. I thought that I should
find out what has happened to this monster that you foisted off on me.I am sending some picture by mail since this computer has a problem
with sending attachments. Briefly , sierra is a fairly small setter, stubborn , extremely
quick and smart. Sierra was retrieving grouse at 11 months, along withher companion, the speedy NuNu alias Ainnu a basset built low and fast who also retrieves grouse. In addition to the above she is unbelievably pushy gentle and incredibly affectionate. Sierra ranks right in with my otther Setters Mandy and Kelly , I,will probably not return her for a refund,
