Russell Irish Setters

The "Tate and Rumour" Litter is due in early November 2010 and combines pedigrees of numerous National Field Champions, National Amateur Field Champions, field champions, show champions, and two major Dual Irish Setter breeding programs:  Mythodical and Russell Irish Setters.   We are hoping produce pups with lots of competitiveness, high desire to find birds and to point, speed, and good looks.  

 "Out of the box" Tate is one of the nicest working Irish Setters I have ever seen.　 He is hardworking and focused, and he possesses exceptional range, desire, and temperament.  Tate's style on point is high, and his ground speed is phenomenal.　

Though still a derby, Tate's maturity on birds, and out running, promise a bright future, and his forgiving nature only add to the certainty that he will develop into an exceptional trial dog for owner Trena Cardwell at Chukarhill Kennel. 

Rumour is a really biddable "first Irish"  belonging to our good friends Trevor and Carrie.    Carrie broke Rumour herself on wild birds in their home province of Alberta and has put multiple senior stake placements on Rumour including CKC Field Championship points.  Carrie and Rumour are also working at the Utility Obedience level and will begin to trial once Rumour has weaned her litter.    Rumour finished her CKC Show Championship in 2009.   

December 2010 Rumourwins an AKC AGD stake for her first AKC field trial point and places third in another AGD stake!
